How to store sublimation transfer paper?

Sublimation transfer paper, as the basic consumable for sublimation transfer, needs to be stored properly. Improper storage may cause the transfer paper to deteriorate, which in turn affects transfer production.

So how to store sublimation transfer paper?

For unused transfer paper, the core storage element is dryness. Dry storage needs to be achieved from both directions. First, the humidity of the vacant storage environment is required. Under normal circumstances, we recommend that the environmental humidity of transfer paper storage be controlled at 45%-60%. Too low or too high humidity is not conducive to the storage of transfer paper. Second, to ensure the complete packaging of the transfer paper. When the transfer paper leaves the factory, we will seal it with plastic film, which can not only prevent dust from contaminating the surface of the transfer paper, but also effectively isolate the transfer paper from the outside humid air.

In particular, when the printing work is suspended for a long time, the transfer paper should be removed from the printer and put back in the original packaging to avoid long-term exposure of the transfer paper to the air. Moisture on the transfer paper can cause problems such as slower print speeds, less fine print patterns, and softer paper. Some transfer papers are affected by humid air, and may also change in profile, which affects the use of transfer paper.

The printed transfer paper also needs to be stored dry. Moist transfer paper is used in the transfer process, and the moisture in the paper will vaporize, which will affect the upgrading of the dye, resulting in poor pattern quality on the fabric surface.
